Jr. High Girls Complete Successful Season
The Junior High Lady Blue Devils recently finished a great season. They had an overall record of 13-2 in the 2018-2019 year. The roster of this year’s team was Annalyse Bardell, Morgan Bowser, Chloe Brown, Caylie Conlon, Chloe Hammond, Olivia Hess, Ava Kensinger, Emma Lonsinger, Alexis Lovrich, Chelsea McCaulsky, Hailee McConnell, Carey Musselman, Alyson Partner, Lainey Quick, and Lydia Worthing. The managers were Leigha Clapper, Jenna Norton, and Hannah Waite.Amanda Humphreys, Robin Campbell and Alicia Campbell were this season’s coaches.
The only two losses the team had this year were against Williamsburg. Unfortunately, the girls were unable to make it into the ICC championship, but they played very well and deserve to be proud of themselves. They are a hard-working team who work together, and that’s why they had such success. These girls also supported the varsity girls’ basketball team who won their second straight state championship!
We had the chance to sit down with two eighth grade players, Ava Kensinger and Annalyse Bardell, and talk to them about the season. Here’s what they shared with us.
