ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Sakeria Haralson
Sakeria Haralson and the Lady Blue Devil volleyball team are headed to the playoffs.

Sakeria Haralson has been having a monster senior season for the volleyball team. Just this year she has 226 kills, 107 blocks, and 85 digs.
She is the BluePrint’s Athlete of the Week.
Sakeria has been playing volleyball since fifth grade, but is not playing volleyball in college. In the summer before her junior season, Sakeria scholarship for Monmouth University to play basketball.
Her goal for this volleyball season was to make playoffs and the Lady Devils achieved it, playing tonight against Penns Valley in the first round of the District 6 2A playoffs.
Sakeria’s stats for her varsity career are 367 total blocks, 54 aces, 221 digs, 243 solo blocks, 651 kills, and 206 sets played.
Her favorite thing about volleyball is being able to play with her friends.
Her other hobbies include reading and writing.
This past year and a half Sakeria has been writing a book about zombie apocalypse.
She has finally finished her book and is now working on getting it published.
