All About Mrs. Auberzinski

7th grade student teacher Amber Auberzinski was a B-A graduate.

Former B-A Student, Amber (Smith) Auberzinski, has decided to return to her former Blue Devil home with the hopes that she acquire the skills in order to become a teacher. So, we decided to get some information from her about her student teaching experience in 7th grade thus far. Here are some questions that we asked her:

Q: Did you want to be a teacher all throughout your life?

Mrs. A: Yes, I always wanted to be a teacher.

Q: Where did go to school as a kid? 

Mrs. A: I went to Bellwood-Antis when I was a kid. 

Q: Where did you go to college?

Mrs. A: I went to college at Grand Canyon University.

Q: Are you married?

Mrs. A: Yes, I have a husband named Ryan.

Q: Do you have any kids?

Mrs. A: Yes, I have two kids named Aliyah and Sawyer.

Q: Did you play any sports/activities as a kid?

Mrs. A: Yes, I played basketball, volleyball, pole vault, and I was involved in FFA.

Q: If you could teach any grade, would you stick with 7th grade, or choose another grade?

Mrs. A: Well, I’ve only taught 7th grade, so I don’t know any different. I would probably stick with seventh grade.

Q: What is your favorite color? 

Mrs. A: My favorite color has to be mint green.

Q: What is your favorite animal?

Mrs. A: My favorite animal is probably a cat.

Q: What is your favorite food? 

Mrs. A: My favorite food is popcorn. 

Q: What is your favorite TV show? 

Mrs. A: Probably I Was Prey.

Q: What are some of your favorite things to do?

Mrs. A: Well, I’m not able to do much, but when I find the time, I like to fish, hike and be outdoors in nature. 

Q: What was your favorite subject in school?

Mrs. A: Definitely history. 

Q: What was your least favorite subject?

Mrs. A: My least favorite subject is probably math.

Q: What is your favorite ice cream flavor? 

Mrs. A: I like strawberry cheesecake ice cream. 

Q: If you could like anywhere in the world, where would you live?

Mrs. A: I would love to live in New Zealand. The scenery is beautiful, and I would love to go and see it in person.

Q: If you could do anything other than teaching, what would it be? 

Mrs. A: I would like to be in the Peace Corps. I want to travel the world and help people.

Q: If you could be any animal, what animal would you be?

Mrs. A: Probably a cat. They just get to lay around all day and get fed!

Q: What is your favorite sport to watch, and who is your favorite team from that sport?

Mrs. A: I like football, and I definitely would pick the Cowboys.

Q: If you could meet anyone dead or alive, who would that be?

Mrs. A: I would have liked to meet President Teddy Roosevelt because he overcame a lot of tragedy and contributed so much to environmental conservation.
