4We took some time to sit down with Mrs. Taylor, the Middle and Elementary School Special Education-Gifted Teacher. We asked her twenty questions about teaching and her life in general. Read on to find out more… 

Q: What do you like to do in your free time?

A: In my free time I like to read, do puzzles, golf, and play with my grandchildren.

Q: What is your favorite subject to teach?

A: Math.

Q: What is your favorite subject to learn?

A: Math.

Q: Who is your favorite student?

A: I like them all equally.

Q: What is your favorite animal?

A: The sloth.

Q: What is your favorite extracurricular activity to coach?

A: Reading Competition and Speech League.

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: A Christmas Story.

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Chocolate.

Q: What is your favorite book?

A: Animal Farm.

Q: What is your favorite vacation destination?

A: I would like to go to Hawaii.

Q: What time do you go to bed?

A: I go to bed around midnight.

Q: What time do you wake up?

A: 6:00 A.M.

Q: Do you prefer pencils or pens?

A: It depends on what I’m doing. If I’m checking papers or doing work, then I’ll use a pen. If I’m doing activities on my own time, then I’ll use a pencil.

Q: Do you teach high school students?

A: I coach Student Congress and Scholastic Scrimmage.

Q: What would you do if you won the lottery?

A: I would invest a portion so I could live, share some with my kids, and send some to charity.  

Q: What is your favorite family memory?

A: Christmas with my family.

Q: If you could meet anyone, who would it be?

A: Mother Teresa. She did so much for other people.

Q: What is your biggest accomplishment?

A: My biggest accomplishment is raising three children who are successful in life.

Q: Are you messy or neat?

A: Messy.
