The 2020 senior class for the B-A Lady Blue Devils has had its fair share of championships, all the way from ICC the whole way up to state titles.

Last night’s game meant a little something extra for B-A as the seniors played the final home game of their career.

Senior Sakeria Haralson had her time in the spotlight Wednesday night when she scored her 1,000th point  on a three pointer in a 72-33  victory in the first round of the District 6 2A playoffs against Glendale, the third time B-A has beat them this year.

“It felt great,” said Haralson. “I wasn’t really worried about it. I knew if I didn’t get it this game it would happen eventually.”

Haralson Finished the game with 14 points, playing dominant inside as she has been all season.

Fellow senior Emilie Leidig then stepped on to the scene, breaking the school record for threes in a game with 9, on her way to a 27-point outing for the Lady Blue Devils. She broke the record of 8 established last season by Riley d’Amgelo.

The senior class has been an absolute monster of a team for the past four years – with three 1,000-point scorers – and after last night’s win they are guaranteed at least three more games this season, with high expectations of playing a couple more than that.

Alli Campbell also scored 20 points for the Lady devils, hitting on 3 deep treys.

The win pushes the Lady Blue Devils into the 2nd round of the playoffs, where they will face off against Bishop Guilfoyle, fresh off of a win against Homer Centre.
