Taylor won his first round match with a 16-1 technical fall, but lost in the round of 16 with a score of 3-1. He will wrestle today in the consolation round of 8 No. 1 against Tyler Wonders from West Perry.

Pellegrine also won his first round match by fall in the third period. He would then lose his round of 16 match. Evan will wrestle Emmanuel Ulrich from Mifflinburg today.

Both wrestlers need to win two matches to guarantee a state medal.

Day two of wrestling will start at 9 o’clock.
