B-A edges Glendale in road victory
Sean Mallon scored 12 points in B-A’s win over Glendale.

Monday evening, the B-A boys basketball team traveled to Glendale Area High School to take on the Vikings for their first ICC matchup. With both teams coming off of narrow losses, both Bellwood and Glendale were looking to grasp their first victory.
The Devils kept a consistent lead over the Vikings, outscoring them in each quarter except the fourth where Glendale outscored Bellwood 16-12. The Vikings’ comeback would come up short as Bellwood would go on to claim the win, 56-47.
It was a strong bounce-back performance for B-A, which had lost its season-opener against rival Tyrone last Friday.
Seniors Sean Mallon and Dawson Miller led the offensive charge with 12 points each.
The boys travel to Juniata Valley tomorrow to take on the 1-1 Hornets.
