This past Monday, the boys basketball team took a season-ending loss to Northern Cambria in the first round of District VI AAA playoffs. The tenth-seeded Colts outscored the seventh-seeded Devils 58-45.

After leading by five after the first quarter, B-A had trouble finding the basket with only one successful three-pointer on the night and a 10 out of 25 performance from the free throw line. Despite their troubles, three Devils scored in double figures with seniors Sean Mallon and Kyler Sweigert scoring 15 a piece and Dawson Miller putting up 10.

The team ended their season on a 10-13 note after the 13-point loss.

“I’m just super proud of our guys, the seniors, and the amount of time in the summer that they put in,” head coach Patrick Cassidy told the Altoona Mirror. “It’s unfortunate to get a home game like this and then not get the outcome that we want.”
