Nick Kost had two hits against Williamsburg.

Last night the Blue Devil baseball team (2-3) hosted the Williamsburg Blue Pirates (1-3). After a fiery start for the Blue Devils, which saw them getting an early 4-0 lead over Williamsburg, Bellwood was not able to keep it going. The baseball team quickly saw their lead evaporate with Williamsburg leading 12-8 going into the sixth inning

Bellwood was able to push across one run in the 6th inning, and another run in the 7th with their comeback effort coming up just short. Bellwood lost the game 12-10 moving their record to 2-4.

The Blue Devils loss could be attributed to their fielding. Bellwood had 8 errors, compared to Williamsburg 2. Errors have been a growing concern for Bellwood with them having 12 in just the last two games.

Senior Jack Luensmann continued his hot season from behind the plate getting on base twice, knocking in three runs, and scoring two runs. Nick Kost, and Josh Dorminy also added in two hits of their own.
