The Bellwood-Antis Unified Bocce team took a victory on their home court Wednesday against Claysburg.

The match started out with Claysburg taking a 2-1 lead in the first set. However, B-A took a 6-0 lead in the second half, putting the match in overtime.

B-A scored 2 points in overtime, which secured the victory.

Senior Tighe Eaken, who is a seasoned bocce member, had a lot to say about last night’s match.

“It’s always a good day when you beat the Bulldogs,” said Tighe. “I especially couldn’t have done it without my partner Noah.”

The Bellwood-Antis bocce team is now 2-2, and will travel to Bedford on February 7, 2023 to take on the Bison.
