The Bellwood-Antis boys basketball team took a 14-point home victory over Mt. Union on Tuesday, winning  50-36 to avenge an earlier loss this season on the road.

Mount Union scored 5 points more than the Blue Devils in the first quarter, but two close quarters to follow proved to shorten the gap.

By the end of the fourth quarter, B-A led a 19-3 run to secure the win.

The Devils were able to hang on down the stretch despite losing leading scorer Caleb Beiswenger, who fouled out early in the fourth quarter.

Sophomore Holden Schreier was the leading scorer for the Blue Devils with 18 points. Following was Beiswenger with 10, and Junior Connor Bardell with 8, all of them after Beiswenger had fouled out.

The boys will travel to Glendale Friday, February 10 for their last regular season game.
