The Hope Center

The Hope Center is a non-profit organization in Bellwood that helps residents of the community. The mission of The Hope Center is to “provide hope through care, friendship, and encouragement to the residents of Bellwood-Antis”. The Hope Center is known for supporting stockings for the troops; they also run programs such as ‘Soups-On’, ‘Silver Spoon’, and ‘Truck 2 Trunk’.

The community also supports the Hope Center, whether it’s by volunteering or by making donations. A few students help out each month that are in the Bellwood-Antis Middle School, National Junior Honor Society. Tracie Ciambotti, The Hope Center Vice President commented on their Truck 2 Trunk program and said,”The need was huge and we feel like our ability to give them the food would free up their budget a little bit.” A member of the National Junior Honor Society who helps out each month, Thaddeus Norton, said that it was fun, and it felt nice to help others.
