The Bellwood-Antis Avedum club hosted its first annual schoolwide volleyball tournament on April 6, kicking off a four-day Easter break.

More than 20 teams entered the competition, which started at 8:15 and included 8-minute games in a double-elimination tournament.

To enter, teams paid a $10 fee, which the club donated to The Door. The event replaced the annual Activity Fair the group normally hosts on the day Christmas break starts. This year, the Ac tivity Fair was cancelled due to a school closure for inclement weather.

The Ice Spikes, a team composed of juniors Jase Hostler, Shawna Lovrich, Kate Heisler, Jake Mercer, Joe Dorminy, and Miranda Tornatore, came out on top with a win in the championship.
