With students out for sports, trips, assembly is cancelled
A high number of students out of the building on Friday caused the cancellation of a student assembly.
Although there was a planned assembly Friday at 1:30 p.m., the assembly has been cancelled due to dismissals for the music field trip, softball and baseball, and PM CTC students in grades 10-12.
The assembly was originally scheduled to recognize COTY student and Challenge Award honorees.
While the assembly will no longer be held, personnel from Challenge Program and M&T Bank will still be visiting at 1:30. There will be 5 winners included to meet with them, receive their award, and take a photo as well.
In lieu of the assembly, the underclassmen honors students and COTY students will be rewarded with an Ice Cream Social on Monday.
