Sophomore Koda Wilson has an extremely unique job in the BA Music Department. He’s the only French horn player in the high school, and he takes his job very seriously.
“The only activity I have is band. I have been doing it since 4th grade and I enjoy being the only French horn player,” Koda commented. “I feel unique.”
Over the last few years, Koda has grown into a phenomenal French horn player.
“I enjoy music,” he started. “I don’t see any point in leaving since I’ve been doing it for so long.”
As of now, Koda is undecided as to what he wants to pursue into college. He’s considering the military because he doesn’t think the constant work in college would be for him. He doesn’t plan on continuing to play after high school because he’s doing band for fun.
One piece of advice he’d give to younger students is “Stick to it, practicing at home is for nerds, and stay in tempo.”
