This week’s artist of the week is Jacob Miller, who has a passion for beautiful colors and has done great work in his high school art classes.
Jacob is a senior at BAHS and partakes in the Unified Bocce Team. He enjoys watching cooking videos and going on drives with his dad outside of school.
This year, Jacob participates in Leah McNaul’s Ceramics and Painting art class. He has created many different projects through multimedia, painting, and ceramic art forms.
He enjoys painting and mixing colors to get different varieties of tints and shades. “Jacob has always liked watching what happens when you mix colors together,” commented McNaul.
Jacob believes that everybody, no matter their capability, can do and pursue art. He himself is able to do most of his art projects on his own without a lot of help from his teacher.
He plans to stay at Bellwood until he is 21, and will definitely be taking an art class every year up until then.
