Records might be made to be broken, but some of B-A’s track and field records seem to far ahead of their time that it’s a wonder when someone will exceed them.
Lisa Haupt holds on of those: an 18-foot long jump set nearly 50 years ago that hasn’t been approached in half a century.
Haupt graduated in 1977 as the most successful girl to compete for Bellwood-Antis in the sport of track and field, and while there have been some amazing ladies to follow her, that title of the greatest remains.
