Spooky season is upon us! Get out your ghouls and goblins, hang some decorations, and grab your candy because October is coming fast! An with October comes trick or treating and costumes, our favorite time of the month. We all remember our favorite costumes, right? Whether it be Witches or Princesses, Ghosts or Werewolf , it was always a fun time dressing up. These are the top 3 most popular Halloween costumes or 2023, lets see what the kids are wearing nowadays.
In first place we have, Barbie and Ken. We all know they got this idea from the iconic Barbie movie that came out last summer about a girl in a male-dominated world wanting to make a change. I think it must’ve inspired a lot of little girls, or they just love barbies and pink. And we all know and love Ken. I know some people did and didn’t watch the movie and may or may not have liked it, me personally though, I did like it. And I did cry.
In second, Princesses. Very popular, even since I was a kid. Princesses have been around forever, but of course, most popularly from cartoons. Cinderella, Aurora, Snow white, Tianna, etc. Growing up, I was a lot of princesses, I couldn’t even count, but my most popular one was Rapunzel and Elsa. I think every little girl wanted to be a princess though.
And lastly, Spiderman. Every little boy wanted to be some type of superhero. And even now, even some teenage boys want to be Spiderman. Very inspiration to a lot of young adults and kids, and even the entire internet. Some people were even so inspired to make their OWN “spider-sona”, as they call it.
Overall, Halloween is fun, and dressing up for the occasion however you feel is even more fun.
