A Bellwood-Antis tradition makes its return on Wednesday.
The FCA will be sponsoring the annual See You At the Pole Event tomorrow by the flag pole at the main entrance. This is an event where students, staff, and community members come together and pray for a great school year.
“This is always a great event for our school,” said FCA advisor Mr. Nick Lovrich. “We have a good turnout and the FCA leaders do a great job of taking control of the event.”
Mr. Lovrich said the event would be moved indoors to the gym in case of rain.
Ever since early 1990s this has been considered a “nationwide event” This event was inspired by a youth group in Burleson, Texas and still goes on to this day.
According to the See You at the Pole website: “See You at the Pole is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event.”
