A year ago the Tyrone/Bellwood-Antis soccer team was 1-10 and just trying to find their footing.
This year they are starting better at 4-5, 4th in the Laurel Highlands and trying to find a playoff spot.
After a 4-0 win over Penn Cambria at home on Saturday, they are looking to keep the momentum going.
B-A sophomore Noah Gulvas got the scoring started against the Panthers with a goalĀ midway through the first half.
Titus Novak and Grant Miller also added first-half goals as Tyrone/B-A went ahead 3-0.
B-A sophomore Ned Smearman added a second-half goal to close the scoring.
Jake Baker finished with 3 assists.
Tyrone/B-A will continue to battle to finish at or above the .500 mark to earn a big into the District 6 3A playoffs.
