It is now October! And as we crawl closer and closer to the last spooky weeks of the month, closer comes the annual Bellwood-Antis Halloween parade and Safe Night Trick or Treat! It’s one of the school’s most attended and anticipated events of the season!
The event, which takes place October 29, is sponsored by Renaissance Club, and it gives younger members of the community a place to safely wear their costumes and move around asking for candy.
This week, Renaissance announced that if any club, team, or group would be interested in participating this event and would like a space, they should contact Mrs. Stinson. Details follow below:
This event will be held at Bellwood Antis High School on October 29 at 7:00pm (Doors will open after the parade). The parade will be held outside the school before safe trick or treating starts. Cider will be hosted at #1 Excelsior Firehall. This event will also be dedicated to Maddie’s Memory Benches at the new Myer’s Elementary playground. Donations: It will be 2$/child or 5$/family. All kids (up to 8th grade) must be accompanied by an adult.
Safe Trick or Treat first took off at B-A in 2019. It’s held at the high school, with clubs sponsoring rooms featuring games, activities, and treats for young Halloween-goers.
