Eric Johnson, whose favorite thing to cook is French toast, has been cooking since his grandmother taught him how to make chocolate covered pretzels when he was 7. Now a sophomore, he’s been cooking for almost 10 years.
His dedication to this skill has made him the BluePrint’s Artist of the Week.
Home Ec. teacher Ms. Harris says she enjoys having Eric in her class.
“He is very organized, and he is very helpful with his lab partners,” Ms. Harris said
Out of school Eric hunts, builds Legos, and participates in high school musicals. As a freshman, he was a state champion in PJAS.
Eric said his favorite thing about Home Ec is learning new recipes and seeing how they turn out after cooking them.
The most important things he’s learned from Home Ec. include the rules of the kitchen and how to be organized in a time crunch.
