For senior Gianna Juart, her biggest inspiration is her mom. Her mom, Gianna said, has helped her become the person she is.
Gianna is a senior in the music department who participates in chorus and school musicals. She is also a varsity cheerleader and track athlete who is active in her church’s youth group.
In September, Gianna was voted Homecoming queen.
Known to her friends as GiGi, Gianna is the BluePrint’s Artist of the Week.
Her biggest motivation is definitely to get better at singing. After high school she hopes to get into Penn State and major in history education and participate in a choir and cheerleading team.
”Chorus is a very fun and safe place. It’s a great way to express your emotions through songs,” she said. “We do a lot of singing and in all we just have a great time.”
GiGi really enjoys chorus, and it is definitely one of her favorite classes. Singing, she said, is one of those things that can bring happiness to others.
She has been in chorus since 5th grade, but she’s been singing since 2nd grade.
“My favorite song to sing is ‘Everywhere Everything’ by Noah Kahan, but if we are talking about chorus it would be ‘When you Believe,'” she said.
GiGi is trying out for Shrek the Musical this year after playing Ursula Merkil last year in the production of Bye Bye Birdie.
