The Bellwood-Antis volleyball team played its final two games of the regular season this week and ended on a high note heading into playoffs.
On Monday, B-A went against Bishop McCort, and the girls won in a sweep. The scores of the sets were 25-20, 25-14, and 25-12.
The Lady Blue Devils had some dominant performers to secure this win, with senior Avah Hassler getting 24 assists, and senior Addy Turek having 12 kills on the night.
The following day, B-A continued its winning streak with another sweep over Bellefonte. The Lady Devils had another great game, with set scores of 25-21, 25-17, and 25-13.
Tuesday was also Senior Night for the Lady Blue Devils, where they celebrated seniors Avah Hassler, Ava Patton, Addy Turek, Johanna Heckman, and Morgan Kienzle.
Turek had another solid performance, contributing 11 kills and three blocks in the game.
After these two final wins, the Lady Blue Devils finish their regular season off with a 13-5 record. The next step for the team is playoffs. B-A is currently sitting in 6th place in the District 6 2A rankings.
The Lady Devils will play their first round game on October 24.
