The Bellwood-Antis Scholastic Scrimmage team went to the Iu8 building in Altoona Tuesday for its third competition.
The team had a strong showing, going 4-1 on the day while improving their season record 12-3.
B-A had to come back from a setback to earn its four wins.
The team started the day of with a loss to a good Hollidaysburg A team, but then rebounded with 4 straight wins over Williamsburg, Chestnut Ridge, Hollidaysburg B, and Tussey Mountain.
“We have a veteran squad with the potential to win the Scholastic Scrimmage crown,” said advisor Mr. Travis Martin.
B-A is now headed to the playoffs..
The team includes Holden Schreier, Derek Stivers, Briley Campbell, Eli Moser, Ryan Marinak, Emily Zacker, and Copper Lovrich. Mr. Drew Moyer advises the group along with Mr. Martin.
