Senior Brianna Patterson is the latest Artist of the Week. Brianna is involved in Ceramics & Painting taught by Mrs. McNaul.
This isn’t the first art class she’s taken, and Mrs. McNaul has been a heavy influence on her for many years, which makes it sad that this is the year Brianna concludes her art classes with Mrs. McNaul.
“Brianna is such a wonderful student and person,” McNaul states.
Within Brianna’s artistic mind she creates a world of possibilities in art. Artists can come freely to great ideas, and Brianna does just that.
Mrds. McNaul has had quite the impact on Brianna, who has taken art classes with her since middle school
“I’ve had her since 7th grade. She has taught me so many things over the years,” Patterson continued. “Everyday she has a smile on her face and makes everyone feel welcomed.”
Brianna has a strong connection between art and her individuality. She embodies the power of the subjects of art skewing the real-world into her imaginative mind.
School is not the only place she releases her artistic abilities. Whether she’s with friends or by herself Brianna is unleashing an art piece by painting or coloring.
Brianna explains that Cermaics & Painting is “creating (something) your way and how you see it,” and she excels at that criteria.
Brianna will graduate this spring, and Mrs. McNaul will be rooting for her success.
“I hope she always makes art for our world,” Mrs. McNaul said.
Good luck Brianna!
