From Midwest emo to hip-hop rap, millions of listeners come together for this one enjoyment. But what exactly is the most popular type? Here are the top 3 most popular, trending songs of 2024.
Coming in 3rd, Espresso by Sabrina Carpenter. This song was probably one of the most popular out of her tour, Short ń Sweet. It got so popular for its catchy lyrics and upbeat music. Personally, I’m not a huge Sabrina Carpenter fan but that song deserves 3rd.
In 2nd, BIRDS OF A FEATHER by Billie Eilish. This song got very popular on TikTok and went viral with all the trends people were making with their S/O or friends. Not only did it go viral on social media for its lyrics but also in the music world for its melody. I like this song a lot and can relate to it so it’s not hard to believe it would end up in the top 2.
And last but not least, in 1st, Die With A Smile by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. This song is 1st because it got even more popular than Billie’s song did on every social media platform with all the edits and reactions to this song, not to mention all the fame they got from the album alone. This song is very low toned and sad, with a calming beat and emotional lyrics. This type of music is not particularly my taste but it is good for all the other music lovers ands editors, which is why it’s first.
