Last Wednesday, B-A had a tuff time on the road against the Huntington Bearcats.
While the Lady Devils have been solid with the bats early on, they have had a lot of struggles in the field with more than errors in two games.
The results from the struggles in the field was a 12-11 loss to the Hollidaysburg Lady Tigers in the season opener and a 3-1 lost to the Lady Bearcats on Wednesday.
Sophomore Peyton McCahan hit her first career home run against Huntingdon and was they only B-A run. Also, Freshman Abby Claybaugh had a double as did junior Payton Martin.
As for pitching, sophomore Palynn Gregg has been fantastic on the rubber for the Blue Devils. Against Huntingdon, she struck out 9 Bearcats and only allowed 2 walks.
The game was tied 1-1 in the bottom of the fifth before Julia Foster plated a pair with a 2-RBI double.
B-A would ultimately strike out 11 times.
Now 0-2, B-A will look for its first win Monday at West Branch.
