Cats, on the other hand, are known for their calming presence and ability to reduce stress and anxiety, potentially through their quiet companionship and ability to lower heart rate.
The most popular pet in 2025 is a French Bulldog at number one, and Labrador Retriever at number two.
Animals like capybaras, and rats are increasingly growing more and more owned in the United States.
