Middle School Feature Teacher: Mr. Hescox
Mr. Hescox has been teaching and coaching football at Bellwood-Antis for 13 years.

The middle school feature teacher for this February is Mr. Brandon Hescox.
He teaches 7th grade Life Science and 8th grade Physical Science. He has been teaching for 15 years. Two of these years he taught in Maryland and the other 13 were taught here at Bellwood-Antis.
He is a graduate of Bellwood-Antis and went to college at Lycoming.
He chose this career because he likes working with kids and he wanted to coach football. But there’s more to it than that.
“Science teachers always have cool stuff to play with,” he said.
He has been coaching football here at Bellwood for 13 years. He loves coaching football because he likes the history of Bellwood football and helping young boys learn the concepts of playing the game.
“Teaching in the Bellwood-Antis community means a lot to me because Bellwood is still that small community everybody loves, and people always look out for each other,” he said.
Mr. Schrier said, “Mr. Hescox is a hard-working teacher. He loves the field of science and has a great track record of helping students.”
