B-A students perform well at local math competitions

This week many students from Bellwood-Antis stood out in local math competitions.

On Tuesday, the math competition took place at the Penn State Altoona Campus. Jarryd Kissell placed third in the Algebra division. Hannah Hornberger got an Honorable Mention in Algebra. Abby Luensmann and Jeremy Wilson received Honorable Mention in Pre-Calculus.

On Wednesday, Jack Luensmann, Caedon Poe, Kenneth Robison, Zach Mallon, Cassidy Troutman, and Samuel Gormont had an impressive showing at the 24 Challenge Competition at the Johnstown VoTech.

Out of 100 contestants, all six Bellwood-Antis students qualified for the semi-final round and Sam and Zach made it to the final round.
