Feature teacher: Mrs. Taylor

Christina Kowalski

Mrs. Taylor is an integral part of Bellwood-Antis, as a teacher, academic coach and a club advisor.

The middle school feature teacher for October is Mrs. Kathy Taylor.

Mrs. Taylor, a 1979 graduate of Bellwood-Antis, studied as an undergrad at Penn State directly after high school. She then went on to study at Frostbury State where she graduated in 1986 with her Master’s Degree.

At Bellwood-Antis Mrs. Taylor isn’t a typical teacher. She spends her day traveling back and forth from the middle school to the Myers Elementary School. Mrs. Taylor teaches gifted students from third to eighth grade and also teaches math to students in seventh and eighth grade.

Mrs. Taylor isn’t just involved at Bellwood-Antis as a teacher; she is also the supervisor of multiple after school activities. In the middle school she supervises the Forensics Team (Speech Team), National Junior Honors Society, and Reading Competition and in the high school she supervises Student Congress.  In both the middle and high school she supervises Scholastic Scrimmage.
