Bellwood Lady Blue Devil basketball is these girls’ life. All 10 of them on the junior high squad work hard every weekday for two hours, and that has made them all great players. We took some time to hang out with a few of these athletes to talk about their upcoming season. Here is what Allison Campbell, Macy Decker, Emily Leidig and Jaydyn Shuke had to say.

Q1: Are you ready for this season?

A1: They all said yes.

Q2: What is your favorite thing about playing basketball?

A2: Playing and working as a team.

Q3: What is your favorite position to play?

A3: All said guard, except Allison who said both guard and point guard.

Q4: How many wins would you like to have?

A4: We would like to be undefeated!

Q5: Is there any team you fear playing?

A5: They said no.

Q5: If you could describe your team in a few words, what would they be?

A5: Competitive, talented and hardworking.

Other team members include Olivia Musselman, Brenin Abbott, Macy Decker, Dakota Woomer, Kaitlyn Robison, Maddison Boyer and Madison Otto. The coaches Lindsey Conlon and Ryan McGarvey and the managers are Jaylee Shuke and Chelsea McCaulsky.
