Bellwood-Antis students have another opportunity to lend a helping hand, and look good at the same time.

Frankie Pulcinello, a Myers Elementary student, is having open heart surgery on Tuesday, February 2.

The costs of transportation and food will be significant when his family travels to Hershey for the operation.

To assist with the costs, all Bellwood-Antis schools will be participating in “Hats for a Heart” day.

By donating $1 to the office, a student will be able to wear their favorite hat in school.

Myers Elementary School will have their hat day on Tuesday, January 26. For the high/middle schools, hat day will be Thursday, January 28.

Teachers and staff will also be able to wear jeans for $5 to show their support.

“We love Frankie,” said his teacher Ms. Tylisha Bowser.  “It is a joy having him in my class, and we are happy to help support him in some way through this surgery.  He is one of Bellwood’s treasures!”

Please help the Pulcinello family and donate today!
