Student Council members created a Flowergram bulletin board for the middle school hallway.
It’s almost Valentine’s’ day so that means it’s time to show someone how you feel about them. How can you do that? Well, in the middle school you can buy a Flower Gram. Flower Grams are a way to represent a feeling through the color of a flower. Red means love, orange means crush, white means secret admirer, pink means like, and yellow means friend.
We asked Mr. Trexler, sixth grade teacher and Student Council adviser, a couple of questions about the Flower Grams activity. This is what he had to say.
Q: How many years have the flower grams been sold?
A: 6 years.
Q: Why was this fundraiser started?
A: It raises money for the 7th and 8th grade Social.
Q: What is your favorite thing about the flower grams?
A: Delivery Day.
Q: In one word, describe the flower grams.
A: Entertaining!
The Flower Grams will be sold by Student Council members for $2.00 each during all lunch periods. Be sure to stop by and buy one for your friend, love, secret admirer, like, or crush. They will be sold January 25th through February 5th.
