This week, 18 Bellwood-Antis Middle School students attended the Blair County Junior High Chorus Festival on Monday and Tuesday. These students included:

Sopranos: Anna Sloey, Cassidee Reiter, Karlie Feathers, Cazen Cowfer, Alexandra Diamond, and Madison Boyer.

Altos: Haley Ridgeway, Alyssa Harkins, McKenzie Kissel, Lauren Young, Izzy Holes, and Sasha Neyman.

Baritones: Jackson Boyer, Sam Gormont, Alex Roberts, Nicholas Caracciolo, Noah Patton, and Hunter Gregg.

Under the direction of Miss Beth Hull, these students traveled to Claysburg-Kimmel High School for two days of rehearsal, and a final concert on Tuesday night.

These students learned to advance their musical skills through their guest conductor Dr. Ryan Beeken, Director of Choral Studies at IUP.

It was the perfect way at B-A to emphasize ‘Music in our Schools Month’ for the middle school and high school students.

Seniors Amanda Albright and Michael Yohn will be attending the PMEA Regional Chorus Festival on Thursday and Friday this week.
