Sensational Sophomore
This month’s sensational sophomore is a pageant queen, Alivia Jacobs. If you don’t know her, you’re missing out. Alivia is kind, lively, and certainly one of a kind.
Not everybody can walk across stage in high heels, sit one on one with a judge and talk calmly during an interview, or give a personal introduction on stage in front of judges… but Alivia Jacobs, 16, of Bellwood-Antis can.
“I’ve been doing pageants for about 8 years now, and I’ve traveled across the country to Las Vegas to compete also,” she said.
During pageants Alivia competes in evening gown, interview, talents, and lifestyle and fitness.
“I love the people I get to meet through them. The lifelong friendships I’ve made are priceless!”
Alivia has won about 15 titles during the years she has competed in pageants, all of which she loves. “I love all the titles I’ve won because they’ve all allowed me to do so much in the community,” she said.
