Marissa Cacciotti is this week’s Sensational Sophomore. Marissa is a very active and involved student at Bellwood-Antis.

Marissa partakes in clubs and sport such as Renaissance, FCA, Spanish Club, Key Club, Yearbook, basketball, soccer, and track and field. Her favorite class is Algebra 2 & her favorite teacher is Mr. Rhone.

After high school, Marissa wants to further her academics and athletics. She’s a valuable sixth-man on the varsity basketball team, one thing that boosts her confidence on the court is making an impact off the bench.

“We’ve worked hard in the offseason and we’re hoping for a successful season,” says Cacciotti about the girls basketball team’s season.

Some goals Marissa has for the rest of high school are to maintain good grades, meet new people and stay involved, and stay positive.

Whenever Marissa isn’t playing a sport, she enjoys reading, listening to music, and spending time with her friends and family.

Some future advice she has for upcoming sophomores is to not stress about the little things, and to have fun and do the things that make you happy.
