More than 160 students from Blair County are in Bellwood for the Blair County Chorus Festival.

Yesterday and today Bellwood-Antis High School is hosting the Blair County Chorus Festival, culminating in the concert at tonight at 7 p.m.

About 165 students from Altoona, Tyrone, Hollidaysburg, Bishop Guilfoyle, Claysburg, Williamsburg, Spring Cove, and Bellwood-Antis will rehearse under the direction of Dr. Craig Denison, IUP Assistant Professor of Music. Out of those 165 students, 19 of them are eighth and ninth grade Bellwood students selected to participate in this Music Festival.

The Bellwood student participants are listed as followed: eighth graders Maddison Boyer, Nicholas Caracciolo, Alexandra Diamond, Maria Cuevas, Sasha Neyman, Noah Patton, John Sloey, Malia Danish, Kami O’Shell and Hunter Gregg; also the ninth grade students are Ashley Yohn, Alyssa Harkins, Makenzie Kissel, Halee Ridgway, Cazen Cowfer, Izzy Holes, Victoria Mauk, Kaitlin Shanafelt, and Alex Roberts.
