Casey Gray Adds to His Legend
Senior Superstar Delivers 100th Career Hit
Recently Casey Gray hit a very big milestone in the baseball world. He smacked the 100th hit of his high school baseball career.
This can’t be done in one or two really good seasons. It takes four years of consistently solid baseball, which is exactly what Gray has produced.
Casey hit his 100th hit Thursday, April 17th against Juniata Valley, and he was very proud of his accomplishment. Not only is this a big deal for his own personal satisfaction, but it is very important towards his goal of playing baseball at the college level.
Gray is not yet decided where he will go, but with his athletic ability the options are not cut short.
“Casey has been a very consistent player over the last four years,” said Coach Steve Conlon. “He has improved each year and is one of the better hitters in the area. It is a great accomplishment for him to have reached 100 hits in his career.”
