BA History 101: 1997-98 Track Team
The boys and girls track teams were dominant in 1997-98.

Twenty years ago the boys and girls track team were undefeated. Now in 2018, the boys are undefeated and the girls are getting in the groove.
In the 1997-98 track season the Bellwood-Antis boys track team used its depth to power the Devils to a perfect season. The team was lead by a talented group of seniors: Nathan Hoffer, Brent Hescox, Tim Noonan, Matt Miller, and Dan Tubbs. The boys even won at the Mountain Conference Meet by a convincing margin.
The girls track team recorded a perfect season in 1997-98, as well. The team was led by exceptional group of girls: Julie Gerwert, Missy Gerwert, Renee Graham, Misty Meredith, and Erin Imler. The girls also won at the Mountain Conference Meet. Erin Imler brought home three medals at the PIAA chsmpionships.
Other B-A track team members to make it to the PIAA Track and Field Championship Meet included Ryan Shiffler, James Larson, Pat Thornton, Matt Bell, Erin Imler, and Misty Meredith.
