Blue Devils roll over Glendale

Caden Nagle logged the pitching win for Belwood-Antis against Glendale.

Yesterday the B-A baseball team traveled to Glendale, in search of a second-straight victory.

They got it, winning 13-3 in a game where they smacked 14 total hits off Glendale starter Lance Westover.

The Devils jumped on top in the first inning, scoring three runs right off the bat.

In the second inning the Devils were still rolling with momentum, putting another four runs on the board.

Troy Walker added 2 hits for B-A, and an RBI as well.  Travis Luensmann, Alex Schmoke, and Nick Plank each added 2 RBIs for the Devils.

Only a sophomore, Plank has been having an excellent season.  He added 4 hits for B-A and  is batting .531.

Caden Nagle was the winning pitcher. He threw 5 innings and only give up 3 runs and 3 hits, none of which were earned.

B-A improved its overall record to 5-4, while raising its ICC record to 5-1.

The Devils will take on Claysburg next Tuesday, away at Claysburg.
