Coach Nick Lovrich is the only B-A head coach to expereince the Backyard Brawl and a player and a coach.
Both Bellwood-Antis and Tyrone lost their playoff games last week, and in most years that would mean an end to the football season. But 2020 has been anything but just another year.
Since the two rivals didn’t play the first week of the season because of a number of alterations brought on from the COVID-19 pandemic, they will play tonight, in a special edition of the Backyard Brawl at Gray-Veterans Memorial Field.
Coach Lovrich talked to us about getting up for an extra game and experiencing the Backyard Brawl as both a player and a coach.
