Tuesday night the Bellwood-Antis softball team played The Lady Hornets of Juniata Valley. It was a special night in Bellwood, as  four seniors were recognized for their hard work over the past four years.

The four seniors were Gabriella Finn, Katie Robison, Abbey Snyder, and Attie Poorman.

The seniors didn’t get their storybook Senior Night, however, with a 12-2 loss in just five innings. Attie Poorman led the seniors onwith 2 hits and Ashlyn Snyder drove in a run.

The Lady Hornets controlled the game from the start and didn’t give the Lady Devils a chance. Juniata Valley was up 8-0 when the Lady Blue Devils strung together some hits to get in 2 runs. However the Lady Hornets proceeded to pile on 4 more runs to get the 10 run role.

The Lady Blue Devils next game is tomorrow when they will travel to Glendale to take on the Lady Vikings. Good Luck to the softball team.
