The final stretch
Nine months have come and gone and B-A’s graduates are ready for their last couple weeks of school right along with every other long awaiting students.
The calendar of May is almost completely full of activities for the seniors or test taking for everyone else.
On May 17th through the 19th is Keystone testing. This will be the first year that Keystone testing is online and the first time they have had a full traditional roll out of people taking the tests.
The following week will be finals week for all core courses( ELA, Math, Social Studies, and Science). The final exams will be averaged in with the 4th marking period grade.
The schedule for final week is a mirroring period schedule. The scheduling goes as followed:
Monday(5/23)- 1-1-3-4-5-6-8-8
Tuesday(5/24)- 2-2-3-4-5-6-7-7
Wednesday(5/25)- 1-2-3-3-5-6-6-6
Thursday(5/26)- 1-2-4-4-5-6-5-5
Friday will be Finals make up day for anyone that missed or didn’t take a final in a class that they should have.
As for the seniors Friday, May 27th they have the senior breakfast followed by a senior walk.
The annual poetry slam will also figure into activities, though a firm date has not yet been set.
