POWER OF THREE: Best places for Bellwoodians to eat
Housers Subs is one of the best places to eat in Bellwood.
Hello and welcome back to the Power of Three.
Today I am going to name 3 of the best places to eat in or around Bellwood. I will base my selection on three thing food, service, wait time.
1: Irvin’s on Main
Irvin’s is a classic. It is located on Main Street. If you want good service and even better food, go to Irvin’s. The service is very fast and you can order and it will be out in about 5-10 minutes. Irvin’s is also a very big part of Bellwood, so when somebody new comes to town and asks what is there good to eat in Bellwood, I always say Irvin’s on Main. Their food is some of the best food I’ve ever had. Their chocolate chip pancakes are the best and if you are not into something sugary at 9:00 in the morning, their biscuits and gravy are also very good.
2: Spruce Creek Tavern
The Spruce Creek Tavern is a very underrated location. The service their is top tier, the waiter/waitress that sit you down is very nice, and the food is some of the best food I’ve eaten in the area. The wings are very good as are the sauces. The chicken salads are good too. They are mainly famous for the big batch of fries you can order and feed an entire table.
3: Houser Subs
Houser Subs has some of the best subs in town, and I’m not a big sub person, but I can enjoy a sub from Houser. When I play basketball down at the Park, I bring a few bucks so I can stop at Houser to get a drink and a snack. The service there is also very good. They are polite and nice, and they give you time to order. The BLT sandwich is the best sandwich they have on menu.
