Power Of Three- Best Halloween Songs.
Hello and welcome back to the Power of Three.
Since Halloween is coming up, Today I will name the top three Halloween songs of all time.
1. Thriller- Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson’s Thriller is the best Halloween song ever. From Michael’s vocals to the spooky background noises, it’s the perfect song. When you think of Halloween you think of three things: Candy, Costumes and Thriller. In my opinion, no other song touches Thriller as the best Halloween song ever.
2. Ghostbusters- Ray Parker Jr.
I think that 2 and 3 are very close, but I have to hand it to Ghostbusters. The song really gets me in the fall/Halloween spirit. The part in the song where is says, ” I ain’t afraid of no ghost” is so iconic. Also, when the song starts to end and beat continues is very strong. The only bad thing about Ghostbusters is it can be repetitive, but that is also a feature, and part of its charm.
3. Monster Mash- Bobby Pickett
Monster Mash is a classic and when I think of Halloween party’s I think of Monster Mash. Monster Mash really gets the younger people into the Halloween spirt. The background singer really ties the song together and Bobby Picket’s voice is awesome. However, like Ghostbusters, it repeats a lot and the older you get the less fun this song gets.
Honorable Mention- Spooky Scary Skeletons- Andrew Gold.
For the first time in Power of Three history there will be an honorable mention and that is the song Spooky Scary Skeletons. If it’s the original version or the edited one, this song is very good and very underrated. People only know the edited version but not the original, which leads it not be listened too a lot and makes this my honorable mention.
