Drive organizers discuss food distribution
Find out what goes on behind the scenes of the cereal drive at the St. Vincent DePaul food pantry.
The annual FCA cereal drive has been extended an extra week. Boxes will now be collected on Monday, March 6.
Once collected, the boxes are taken to the St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Altoona, and from there they are distributed to local families in need.
Reporters from the BluePrint visited the food pantry last week to speak to food distribution organizers and get a glimpse of what the process of organizing these community-wide care packages looks like.
