Just junior: Jayden Bartlebaugh

Jacob Mercer

Jayden enjoys reading in his spare time.

Jayden Bartlebaugh is a junior here at B-A who has been going here since 1st grade.

Jayden is a three sport athlete and plays football, track, and sometimes likes to play cricket outside of school. Out of the three sports Jayden’s favorite is track because he excels in his ability to jump.

His favorite class is Problems of Democracy with Mr. Elder because he loves learning about the history of different democracies.

Outside of school he likes to hang out with friends and listen to music.

After high school Jayden plans on going to Penn State for their amazing nuclear physics program.

Jayden often expresses his love of movies and film with comparing himself to the blockbuster film, Donnie Darko. Jayden relates to him in many ways and finds him as a very relatable and comforting character.

His favorite memories of school are ones of surprising early dismissals. He recalls getting off early and hanging out with friends for the rest of the day.

Jayden’s advice for upcoming juniors is to make sure you stay in shape. He claims that whether you play sports or not staying in shape and on your feet is an amazing way to take care of not only your academics, but also your mental health.

Good luck to Jayden in the upcoming track season and the rest of the year!
