You may have seen Brylee Hewitt cheering for Bellwood on football nights or at basketball games even at wrestling matches.
Brylee is a part of B-A’s competitive cheer squad, and she is this week’s Sensational Sophomore.
Brylee said her favorite thing about cheering is spending time with her friends on the team and competitions.
Outside of school Brylee enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
In school, her favorite teacher is Spanish teacher Senora Smith “because she always tries to make class fun and exciting ,” said Brylee.
Her favorite class this year is either Psychology or Spanish, while her most difficult class is math because she said it is hard to keep up with what they are learning.
After high school, Brylee said she plans to go to college and become a nurse anesthetists.
Her future goals are to continue getting good grades and make it to states for cheerleading.
“ The advice I would give to the next ‘sophomores is to pay attention in school and do your school work,” she said. “Also, have fun and enjoy high school.” Brylee said.
